Continuum Care Services, Inc. awarded Behavioral Health Care Accreditation from The Joint Commission
 
CHARLOTTE, NC, 2022 – Continuum Care Services, Inc. has earned The Joint Commission’s Gold Seal of Approval® for Behavioral Health Care Accreditation by demonstrating continuous compliance with its performance standards. The Gold Seal is a symbol of quality that reflects a health care organization’s commitment to providing safe and quality patient care.
 
Continuum Care Services, Inc. underwent a rigorous, unannounced onsite review on January 26-28, 2022. During the visit, a team of Joint Commission reviewers evaluated compliance with Behavioral Health Care standards spanning several areas including care, treatment, and services; environment of care; leadership; and screening procedures for the early detection of imminent harm.
 
The Joint Commission’s standards are developed in consultation with health care experts and providers, measurement experts and patients. They are informed by scientific literature and expert consensus to help health care organizations measure, assess and improve performance. The surveyors also conducted onsite observations and interviews.

What happens to your incident?

  • • The Joint Commission will check for other patient safety events about the organization.
  • • Joint Commission may write to the organization about your concern.
  • • Sometimes, Joint Commission will visit the organization to see if there is a problem in meeting the requirements that deal with your concern.
  • • Joint Commission will not share your name with the organization unless you say it is OK
